CNN Reports Lil Phat Shot & Killed

 My prayers are going out to Mel, the father of Lil Phat and Co-CEO of Trill Ent. I'm praying for his family Danielle and Melyric along with Phat's biological mother and his extended family as well. Rest in peace Phat. It's so hard to believe that I have to say those words with your name attached behind it. I have so many fond memories of Phat during my time working for Trill Ent. He was like my little brother. Phat was a good person at heart and I hope justice is served and they find whoever did this to him. There's some speculation of what happened, but no one is for certain at this point. For all those who are wondering, here's the CNN news package covering this story not very long after the shooting took place.

The only issue I have with CNN though, is they're reporting Phat was in his 40's... Wow, Really CNN??

 I was wondering what Teyana Taylor was gonna come on the music scene looking and sounding like after she attempted to come out years ago as a singer. I'm not even mad at this. She came with her own swagg and she ain't taking all her clothes off and being overly sexy. I can respect it, but I'd have to see her live and hear her spittin', free-styling for me to put the official Juice stamp on it. Check it out though!

Yooooooo, how I wish I was in NYC for Hot 97's Summer Jam! Nas performing alone is dopeness, but the fact that he brought out Lauryn Hill is just crazy! This is so refreshing for the state of Hip Hop right now! I can't wait for Nas' "Life Is Good" album to drop! Check it out!
